Powering Industry Through Copper

CBA Metals is developing an integrated copper processing platform designed to serve industrial demand across Nigeria and global export markets.

The world needs more Copper.
Africa has it in
ABUNDANCE.

The global energy transition is driving unprecedented demand for refined copper. Nigeria imports virtually all of it. CBA Metals is built to change that.

// OUR APPROACH

The Hub-and-
Spoke Model

CBA Metals operates on a Hub-and-Spoke architecture — four modular concentrators across brownfield mine sites feeding a centralised refinery within the Lekki Free Trade Zone. We are not a trading company. Our platform runs from upstream ore sourcing through midstream concentration and refining, to downstream distribution of LME-grade copper cathodes designed to serve Nigeria’s growing industrial base, substitute high-value copper imports, and open direct export channels to global commodity markets through the Port of Lagos.

// OUR FOUNDATION

6 Pillars, 1 Platform.

Every element of our business model is designed with a single purpose: to build a copper processing operation that is economically competitive, nationally strategic, and built to last.

Resource Security

Access to upstream ore supply across Nigeria and Southern Africa ensures a resilient, diversified feedstock base for long-term processing operations.

Industrial Processing

State-of-the-art smelting and refining infrastructure designed to produce LME-grade copper cathodes that meet the standards of international commodity markets.

Import Substitution

Nigeria spends billions annually importing refined copper. Our platform is positioned to capture a significant share of this demand and redirect that value into the domestic economy.

Export Competitiveness

Lagos is West Africa’s premier trade gateway. Our location and logistics model positions CBA Metals to serve not just Nigeria, but the broader regional and global export market.

Sustainable Growth

Responsible sourcing, emissions controls, and environmental stewardship are not afterthoughts; they are operational standards built into our platform from the ground up.

National Development

Every tonne of copper we process generates local employment, foreign exchange earnings, skills transfer, and industrial value addition, directly supporting Nigeria’s economic transformation agenda.

The right Country.

The right Moment.

INDUSTRIAL DEMAND

Nigeria’s construction, power, and manufacturing sectors are among the fastest growing in Sub-Saharan Africa, driving sustained copper demand growth.
